Sugaring for men

Back, chest, shoulders or legs — sugar paste takes a man's coarse hair out by the root too. The skin stays smooth for 3–4 weeks, and the more regularly you come, the less hair grows back.

What's different

Coarse hair and large zones

Men's hair is thicker and coarser, and the zones are bigger: back, chest, shoulders. For sugar paste that's no trouble — it takes the hair out by the root, in the direction it grows, so the hair doesn't break and doesn't grow back under the skin.

Back, chest, full body — one visit. The paste is at room temperature, so even on a large zone a burn is out of the question, and along the way it clears dead cells off the skin — the back comes out not just smooth but soft.

Sport and sweat

Training — from tomorrow

  • Skip the gym, running, sauna and tanning bed on the day of the session — sweat and heat irritate freshly treated skin.
  • Doing underarms too? Don't put on deodorant on the day of the visit, and for the next 24 hours use only an alcohol-free one.
  • After 2–3 days start a gentle scrub, twice a week — new hair comes through freely and doesn't grow in.

First visit

What to expect at your first visit

No elaborate preparation, no downtime afterwards. Four things worth knowing in advance:

  • Don't shave for 10–14 days before the visit — the paste needs 0.3–0.5 cm of hair to grip. Longer than that? No problem, the specialist will sort it out on the spot.
  • Keep the skin dry that day — without cream or oil the paste grips the hair better.
  • Everything is single-use — paste, gloves, sheet. The specialist puts on fresh gloves in front of you and tells you what they're doing and why.
  • At the end the skin is smooth and soft; if a little redness appears, it fades in 15–20 minutes — you can head to work or a meeting without a second thought.

Questions

What men ask us

Does it hurt?

Everyone feels it differently: the first time is a little sensitive, especially in the bikini zone. The paste doesn't burn and takes the hair in the direction it grows, so the sensation is brief and bearable. With every next visit the hair grows back finer and the treatment gets easier.

Can I do several zones in one visit?

Of course — tick all the zones you need when booking and you'll see the total price right there. That way you get everything done in one visit.

Does sugar paste take thick, coarse hair too?

Yes, by the root — and it's on coarse hair that the difference from a razor shows most: the hair isn't cut, so there's no stubble and no ingrown hair. It takes light and gray hair too, and each time the hair grows back finer.

When can I train again?

From tomorrow — as usual. Just skip the day of the session: gym, sauna and tanning bed alike — the skin needs one day without sweat and heat.
